National Breast Cancer Awareness month is just around the corner — a good reminder that breast cancer is the second-leading cause of cancer death among women in the U.S., affecting one in eight women.

About 43,250 women will die this year from breast cancer. In 2022, an estimated 287,850 NEW cases of invasive breast cancer are expected to be diagnosed in women in the U.S., along with 51, 400 NEW cases of non-invasive breast cancer.
