Belton, MO —Belton Regional Medical Center — part of HCA Midwest Health, Kansas City’s leading and most comprehensive healthcare provider — announced today that the Outpatient Sports Medicine and Rehab Clinic, currently located at the hospital, and the Kansas City area’s 10th CareNow Urgent Care will open at 1300 E. North Ave. in Belton. The collaborative concept is scheduled to open in spring 2021 and marks the urgent care’s expansion into Belton.

The Belton Regional Medical Center Outpatient Sports Medicine and Rehab Clinic will specialize in physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, employee health and more and will feature an open gym concept to include agility turf, weight systems and modalities and private treatment rooms. A licensed specialist, vestibular therapist and orthopedic specialists will be on staff to provide one-on-one care, working closely with athletic trainers and physicians to return athletes to their sport. Alongside sports medicine services, the clinic will provide rehab for clients of all ages to include shoulders, knees, backs, hips and neck. Fall prevention training and concussion management will be available.

Staffed with board-qualified physicians and other highly qualified healthcare providers, CareNow provides a wide range of services to treat non-emergent medical problems that can develop unexpectedly and require immediate attention — like cuts, burns, muscle strains, broken bones, common colds and the flu — complementing services provided by primary care physicians and hospital emergency rooms.

“For more than 35 years, Belton Regional Medical Center has focused on providing residents of southern Jackson and north Cass counties access to high-quality healthcare resources with compassionate physicians and specialists, advanced technology, a wide range of services and more,” says Belton Regional Medical Center Chief Executive Officer Todd Krass. “This unique partnership with CareNow Urgent Care represents another evolution of our community commitment, with expanded sports medicine and rehab services, along with urgent care needs. We’re excited that employee health will also be offered at this location, making this new CareNow beneficial both to the community and employers.”
