Research Medical Center offers a class about kidney and pancreas transplants so you can feel educated and informed about those procedures.
Welcome to The Transplant Institute at Research Medical Center's Pre-Education Class for kidney and pancreas transplants. This online class will provide information on the benefits of getting a transplant as well as factors to consider. It will also discuss the transplant wait list, living vs deceased donors, steps in the transplant evaluation, process once you've been matched, how to keep up with your health, amongst others.
As a reminder, it is a requirement that your caregiver also watch this pre-education class with you. Once completed, fill out the form to notify us that you have completed the class. If you have questions as you are watching the video, please write those down so we can address those at your next appointment.
