We are proud to be the first provider in our region to offer single-incision robotic surgical technology. Since 2012, our surgeons have performed more than 5,000 robot-assisted surgeries.

Menorah's staff includes the Surgical Review Corporation's first two surgeons who achieved Master Surgeon status in Robotic-Assisted Colorectal Surgery in the U.S. Many of our surgeons train other surgeons around the U.S. and the world on how to use robotics in their hospitals.

We have bariatric surgeons on staff who specialize in surgical weight loss procedures. Our doctors help patients lose weight and work with them to promote a healthy lifestyle to prevent weight regain. Often, we use minimally invasive techniques and robot-assisted technologies to complete weight loss surgery. This allows our patients to recover faster and experience less scarring.

Breast surgery is the most common treatment option for the removal of breast cancer. Our breast surgeons are experts in removing malignant tumors and tissues of the breast.

While surgery can be lifesaving, it can also leave visible scarring on and around the breast. These surgical scars can be a painful reminder of cancer and treatment and can cause feelings of self-consciousness. To address these issues, our surgeons perform several types of advanced breast cancer surgeries, including:

One of the most effective methods to treat colorectal cancer is surgery. We often use robotic surgical systems to assist with colorectal procedures. Robotic surgery affords surgeons greater precision, control and access to hard-to-reach areas, such as the colon.

Our otolaryngology team provides expert ear, nose and throat care (ENT). From tonsillitis to chronic sinus problems, our specialists offer surgical and nonsurgical treatments to help patients experiencing a range of ENT conditions.

Throat cancer surgery

We also offer a range of treatments for throat cancer. One of the most effective minimally invasive surgical treatments to remove benign and malignant tumors of the mouth and throat is transoral robotic surgery (TORS). The TORS method offers a minimally invasive approach to treating throat cancer using robot-assisted tools that offer 3D, high-definition visualization and superior surgical precision and dexterity.

We offer general surgery, including common gastrointestinal procedures. Our emergency room (ER) also provides lifesaving emergency surgical interventions.

Our skilled cardiologists and heart surgeons offer comprehensive cardiac care, including medical management, cardiac catheterization, cardiac rehabilitation, heart screening and imaging, and open-heart surgery. We also offer procedures to treat vascular disease, including surgeries to treat aortic aneurysms and carotid artery disease.

The specialists and surgeons in our orthopedic program provide a variety of treatments for bone, joint and muscle conditions. The surgeries we offer include minimally invasive arthroscopy and joint replacements. Our knee replacements are performed using robotic surgery, allowing for a high degree of precision and customization.

The neurosurgeons at The Midwest Neuroscience Institute at Menorah Medical Center offer a range of advanced procedures to treat brain and nervous system conditions. The multidisciplinary specialists in our neurological program work together to surgically treat conditions, including cerebral aneurysm, brain tumor and stroke.

The expert specialists in our spine care program use the latest technology to treat spinal issues, from chronic pain to degenerative spinal disorders and injuries. We offer a range of procedures to treat spine conditions, including:
