Overland Park, KN – Overland Park Regional Medical Center— part of HCA Midwest Health, Kansas City's largest healthcare provider — has named Patrick Rafferty as chief operating officer (COO). Rafferty joins the senior leadership team to further the hospital's commitment to providing high-quality, compassionate, patient-focused care.

A healthcare veteran, Rafferty joins Overland Park Regional Medical Center with years of experience across several leadership and hospital roles. Since 2020 Rafferty served as COO at HCA Healthcare's TriStar Hendersonville Medical Center in Hendersonville, Tennessee, overseeing operations and playing a key role in the hospital's patient experience, quality, and growth agendas. Prior to joining TriStar Hendersonville, Rafferty served four years as associate administrator at TriStar Centennial Medical Center in Nashville, supporting various key services. He was also the operational lead supporting TriStar Centennial Women's and Children's Hospital.

Rafferty earned a bachelor's degree in biology from University of Illinois at Urbana – Champaign and an MHA from University of Iowa.
