Arthroscopy

Arthroscopy is a minimally invasive procedure that involves a small camera system and instruments to visualize a joint. Our orthopedic surgeons commonly use this procedure while treating knee and shoulder conditions. Arthroscopy is usually performed on an outpatient basis.

Joint replacement surgery

In severe cases or when all other treatment options have been considered, your doctor may recommend joint replacement surgery. We offer several joint replacement procedures to help with chronic joint injuries and arthritis.

Our hip and knee replacement surgeries have earned us The Joint Commission’s Gold Seal of Approval. Our expert orthopedic surgeons use the latest joint replacement techniques and technology, including minimally invasive and robot-assisted surgical options. With this cutting-edge technology, joint replacements are more customized, require less recovery time and often produce better results.

Minimally invasive knee replacement surgery

We use a range of advanced technologies to provide minimally invasive knee replacement surgery. We offer robot-assisted knee replacements with 2D and 3D preoperative planning.

Our computer-assisted tools allow precise alignment and rotation of hip and knee implants. We also use sensor-assisted knee replacement technology to help ensure the knee is appropriately balanced.

Anterior approach hip replacement surgery

We offer minimally invasive hip replacement surgery using the anterior approach. With this method, the orthopedic surgeon accesses the hip joint through a small incision on the front of the hip. This approach does not displace muscle tissue, resulting in smaller scars and shorter recovery times than traditional hip replacement surgery.

Pre-surgical and post-surgical care

If joint replacement surgery is recommended, we provide a full continuum of care that includes:

  • A pre-surgery class where the patient and caregiver learn about the procedure, what precautionary measures to take and the discharge process
  • Nurse specialists who guide patients throughout their surgical journey and answer any questions they have
  • Rehabilitation specialists who offer services and education while patients are in the hospital and after surgery

Sports medicine

Our sports medicine program is made up of clinical specialists, athletic trainers and physical therapists who offer specialty assessments, quality treatments and comprehensive rehabilitation for sports- and exercise-related injuries. We are also actively involved in educating all types of athletes, family members, coaches and caregivers about injury prevention and recognition.
