Hospital visiting hours
Effective May 1, 2022
To help reduce the spread of respiratory illness, patients (inpatient and outpatient) will be limited to visitors between the hours of 5:30am and 8:00pm. Visitors are not permitted for patients who are under observation or test positive for coronavirus (COVID-19).
- All visitors will self-screen upon entry and must:
- Properly wear the provided Level 1 mask at all times.
- Maintain social distancing of at least six feet from others.
- Wash hands or use hand sanitizer when entering or exiting patient rooms.
- ICU visitors must be 14 years and older.
Circumstances may allow for specific exceptions to any visitation restrictions described on this webpage. Those circumstances include religious visitation as well as a designated support person for a patient with a disability to provide assistance with communication or other necessary components of the patient’s treatment. All persons entering under an exception remain subject to appropriate infection control protocols.
The visitation policy may change at any time at the discretion of Administration based on the safety needs of our staff and community.
Thank you for your help in maintaining a safe environment for our patients.
Checking into the hospital
Your doctor or the department performing your test will give you an appointment time and instructions for your arrival at the hospital. If you have an appointment, please arrive a few minutes early to complete paperwork. We will ask you to sign consent and release forms authorizing hospital personnel to provide the services your physician has requested for you. You will have an identification band during your stay. This helps ensure you receive the proper treatments and medications.
Leaving the hospital
Our medical staff will work to help you recover as quickly as possible. When your doctor determines that you are well enough to leave the hospital, you will receive detailed discharge procedures. The time you leave depends upon when your physician writes your discharge orders. Before leaving your room, please check for any articles you may have missed in packing. While every effort will be made to locate misplaced articles, the hospital is not responsible for articles left in your room. Please follow any instructions you have been give concerning your health and medications carefully. If you do not understand these instructions, please ask a nurse prior to leaving. If you require home health or hospice care, we will be happy to assist you in making arrangements.
