Gabe Clements
Chief executive officer
Gabe Clements has served as chief operating officer of Lee's Summit Medical Center since July 2020 and has been instrumental in the growth and expansion of the hospital. He has also led various employee engagement efforts and served as the hospital's chief diversity and inclusion officer. Gabe previously served as vice president of operations at HCA Midwest Health's Centerpoint Medical Center. Gabe has a background in physical therapy, having served in various rehabilitation and sports medicine leadership roles among HCA Midwest Health hospitals. He earned a bachelor's degree in exercise physiology from Washburn University in Topeka, Kansas, and a master's degree and doctorate degree in physical therapy from the University of Kansas Medical Center in Kansas City, Kansas.
Paige Baker, RN
Chief nursing officer
Paige Baker was appointed chief nursing officer of Lee's Summit Medical Center in July 2016 to oversee the hospital's nursing operations and its 150-plus nursing staff. A 30-plus-year healthcare veteran, Paige previously served as chief nursing officer of HCA Midwest Health's Research Medical Center and has served in various healthcare management and nursing leadership roles within HCA Midwest Health. Paige earned her diploma in nursing from Saint Luke's School of Nursing and a bachelor's degree and master's degree in nursing from Western Governors University in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Steve Sahr
Chief Financial Officer
Steve Sahr was appointed chief financial officer of Lee’s Summit Medical Center and Belton Regional Medical Center in November 2024 to oversee the financial functions and achieve strategic financial goals at both HCA Midwest Health hospitals. Steve brings a wealth of financial management expertise and broad knowledge of our health system, having worked in various ACFO, controller and accountant capacities throughout HCA Midwest Health during the past 16 years. He earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Pittsburg State University in Pittsburg, KS, and a master of business administration from Webster University in Kansas City, MO.
Josh Gill
Chief Operating Officer
Josh Gill was appointed chief operating officer of Lee’s Summit Medical Center in July 2024 and oversees critical areas of the hospital. He is instrumental in Lee’s Summit Medical Center’s growth and expansion efforts and serves as the facility’s co-ethics and compliance officer. Josh previously served in HCA Virginia as vice president of operations at StoneSprings Hospital Center in Dulles, VA and assistant administrator at Reston Hospital Center in Reston, VA. He earned a bachelor’s degree in Russian with a minor in business management from Brigham Young University in Provo, UT and a master of healthcare administration from the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill, NC.
