Outpatient physical rehabilitation

An outpatient rehabilitation program allows patients to stay at home during their recovery and receive therapy on their schedule. It is usually less intensive than inpatient rehabilitation.

Outpatient physical therapy services in Independence, Missouri

At Centerpoint Medical Center, our team of physical therapists and rehabilitation (rehab) specialists are skilled in a variety of rehab therapies designed to improve your quality of life.

We're here to help you regain function or decrease pain because of an injury or chronic health condition.

Individualized outpatient rehabilitation

Whatever your condition, abilities or needs, we're committed to helping you regain the highest possible level of independence and functionality. From your first visit, we will work with you one-on-one to set goals for range of motion, balance and other signs of progress. We design individualized inpatient and outpatient treatment programs to help you meet those objectives.

You can begin rehab while you're at the hospital and continue outpatient rehab therapy after you return home. We can also educate and work with your family members and caregivers, who will help you take care of you at home while you're working toward your goals.
