Outpatient physical rehabilitation
An outpatient rehabilitation program allows patients to stay at home during their recovery and receive therapy on their schedule. It is usually less intensive than inpatient rehabilitation.

Oncology rehabilitation program
Oncology rehabilitation (also known as cancer rehab) is a part of our comprehensive oncology program. Cancer rehab helps patients overcome the obstacles of survivorship by providing individualized and custom management of the side effects of cancer and its treatments. Our cancer rehab-focused team understands how cancer and the side effects of chemotherapy, radiation, and surgery can change how your body feels and moves. Our skilled therapists can help you manage pain and improve mobility, muscle weakness and balance deficits, fatigue, peripheral neuropathy and oncology-related lymphedema.
Vestibular rehabilitation
Vestibular rehabilitation therapy uses specialized exercises and therapies to help patients deal with dizziness and balance issues due to conditions ranging from inner ear issues to post-concussion syndrome. Our rehab specialists use specific exercises and therapies to help the brain adapt to new ways of creating balance in posture, movement, coordination and sight.
Dry needling
Dry needling is a specialized therapy to facilitate healing and maximize your quality of life after recovery. This therapy uses fine needles inserted into certain trigger points in the body—this could be a painful knot in muscles, tendons, ligaments and even around certain nerves to stimulate a healing response. Various conditions may be treated with dry needling to help manage pain and decrease muscle tightness. It can also help improve movement, range of motion and overall daily function.

Sports medicine services
Our sports medicine team serves our community schools, including Belton, Ray-Pec, and Grandview. The athletic trainers treat all types of athletic injuries, from ankle sprains to ACL tears. They will work together to get your student-athlete back to the sport or activity they love.
Concussion management
Our athletic trainers provide ImPACT or SWAY neurocognitive tests to help manage your concussion. ImPACT is the most widely used test and currently the choice of the MLB, NHL, NBA, MLS and NFL. Neurocognitive tests help physicians evaluate an athlete’s recovery following a concussion. In the preseason, each athlete is given a baseline test. Should a concussion occur, a follow-up test may be administered to see if results have changed from the baseline to help determine if an athlete is ready to return to action. We partner with local school and community sports programs for concussion baseline testing. Please check with your athletic program to see if baseline testing is offered.
