As we all know, the COVID-19 pandemic has created never before seen challenges and levels of uncertainty in almost all aspects of our lives. Though social restrictions have begun to lift, there remains some ambiguity in the path to returning to normal day-to-day activities. Therefore, out of an abundance of caution, and with much consideration, we have decided to cancel the 2020 EMSKC.com Symposium.
Thank you for your ongoing partnership during the COVID-19 pandemic. It is through our strong partnerships that we were able to navigate these unchartered waters and work together to care for our patients and each other.
Missouri's new statewide emergency medical care response system is designed to help provide a quicker response and higher quality care when a time-critical emergency occurs. Research Medical Center, Centerpoint Medical Center, Lee's Summit Medical Center and Belton Regional Medical Center have specifically-trained staff available 24 hours a day to treat time-sensitive medical emergencies such as stroke.
