Dr. Kimberly Swan, MD – Program Director

Dr. Swan began her medical career at The University of Kansas SOM and continued her training at her OBGYN Residency at Exempla Saint Joseph’s Hospital. There she was involved in Quality Improvement projects and experienced her first taste of success with process change. She subspecialized in complex benign gynecology during her AAGL fellowship with Drs. Steve McCarus and Arnie Advincula. She became a recognized expert in many complex gynecologic conditions and speaks locally and nationally. During her tenure at KU she recognized her interest and propensity for medical education. When the opportunity presented itself to start a community based OBGYN residency program at Overland Park Medical Center, a teaching hospital in her hometown, she was a natural fit. She is interested in developing new OBGYNs that are prepared to be leaders in healthcare through clinical excellence, critical thinking and skills in process improvement.

Dr. Annie Reising, MD – Associate Program Director

A Kansas City native, Dr. Reising completed medical school at the University of Kansas Medical Center and her OBGYN residency at the University of California, Los Angeles. Prior to joining our staff, Dr. Reising practiced in large, university-based academic centers. With this strong foundation in academic medicine, she takes on the role of Associate Program Director. Her clinical focus continues to be patient care in the hospital setting, where she functions as the “Deck Doc” for Labor & Delivery at OPRMC several days per week.

Dr. Errick Arroyo, MD – Director of Simulation

Dr. Arroyo grew up in southwest Kansas and attended the University of Kansas for undergraduate studies and medical school. He continued specialty training at Penn State University. He has been involved with numerous activities and organizations, including serving as department chair of OBGYN and chief of the medical staff at St. Luke’s South hospital. He has a specific interest in minimally invasive gynecologic procedures with an emphasis on enhanced recovery protocols. He has a strong interest in education, and greatly enjoys his role as a core faculty member here at OPRMC.

Dr. Thomas Greaves, MD

Dr. Greaves is a native of Wichita, KS. He attended Northwestern University and completed his BS in Speech & Language Pathology before attending the University of Kansas School of Medicine. He completed residency training in OBGYN at HCA Wesley Medical Center. He currently practices as an OBGYN specialist for HCA Specialists in Women's Care. Throughout his training, he has been involved in teaching and employs an educational approach to patient care. He is also involved with patient advocacy and leadership in the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.

Rabiya Suleman, MD – Director of Simulation

Dr. Suleman is a graduate of Louisiana State University School of Medicine. She is a board-certified Ob/Gyn who enjoys all aspects of obstetrics and gynecology, from delivering babies to seeing patients for well-woman check-ups. Dr. Suleman has clinical expertise in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery and robotic procedures.

Trista Newville, DO – Director of Education

Dr. Newville completed medical school at Rocky Vista University College of Osteopathic Medicine and OBGYN residency training at Madigan Army Medical Center followed by Mercer University School of Medicine. Dr Newville spends a lot of time one-on-one teaching our residents in their continuity clinic and on Labor and Delivery.
