Thank you for your interest in our Graduate Medical Education program. At HCA Midwest Health you will receive outstanding training from our newly accredited residency programs. We are focused on providing the best quality education with engaged core faculty, and a combination of inpatient and outpatient experiences. Our training environment includes exposure to Overland Park Regional Medical Center, Menorah Medical Center, and Lee’s Summit Medical Center, which deeply enhances our program. Why do physicians prefer programs at an HCA-affiliated facility?
Residents in ACGME accredited programs have many of the same benefits as regular HCA Midwest employees. However, there are differences in the retirement plans and the leave policy for residents.
New residents or fellows receive a $500 stipend to cover the time spent in on site and online orientation activities. In addition, residents receive an annual expense for on call meals.
