"My husband was just diagnosed with lung cancer. I don’t know how I can care for him, my family and deal with driving all over (or downtown) for his treatment."

When a loved one is diagnosed with cancer, it affects the entire family. We know that. You suddenly have many more doctor appointments and hospital time to handle and one less person to help handle it.

When you choose the Sarah Cannon Cancer Institute at HCA Midwest Health, our entire network is at your disposal. From your perspective, it means that the majority of your treatment—chemotherapy, imaging tests, doctor visits—can take place at your local HCA Midwest Health hospital.

For highly specialized services such as radiation or complex surgical oncology, you will still be close to home (or in your local area). For other services related to your cancer treatment, the majority can be provided by your local Sarah Cannon HCA Midwest Health hospital.

At HCA Midwest Health, our entire network is involved in your care, but you can experience it where you need it. About 90 percent of your cancer care happens as an outpatient, so we’ll make sure your appointment is scheduled at a location closest to you.
