Overland Park Regional Medical Center—part of HCA Midwest Health System, Kansas City’s leading healthcare provider—has appointed Steven R. Cleary as Chief Financial Officer. Cleary assumes responsibilities of overseeing the financial, accounting and budgetary functions at the 343-bed facility Level II Trauma acute-care hospital, which is both an Accredited Chest Pain Center and a Joint Commission Certified Primary Stroke Center.
Cleary’s career spans more than 30 years. Most recently he has served as Chief Administrative Officer and Chief Financial Officer at Carondelet Health in Kansas City, Missouri. Prior to that, Cleary served in numerous financial planning positions in the healthcare industry.

Cleary earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in business at Mid-America Nazarene University in Olathe, Kansas. He is an active member of the community and is a member of the Healthcare Financial Management Association.
