HCA Midwest Health System, Kansas City’s largest healthcare provider and private sector employer, has named Denise K. Miller, MD, board-certified Emergency Physician, as Chief Medical Officer (CMO) of Menorah Medical Center. Dr. Miller joins the leadership team of the award-winning, full-service, acute-care facility that is part of HCA Midwest Health System and a healthcare leader in Johnson County.
Dr. Miller has been a member of Menorah Medical Center’s medical staff since 2000. The renowned medical staff includes more than 600 physicians covering the spectrum of specialties and offers compassionate care and advanced technology for patients.

Dr. Miller first joined Menorah Medical Center in 2000. She served in various leadership capacities, including Menorah Medical Staff President in 2011; Chairman of the Department of Emergency Medicine from 2006 – present; Member of Physicians Advisory Council from 2008 to 2013; Performance Improvement Steering Committee 2011 – present; and Bylaws Committee 2011 – present. She has also co-chaired the Patient Safety and Risk Management Committee of EPIC (Emergency Physicians Insurance Company). In addition, Dr. Miller serves on the Kansas State EMS Board and the Johnson County EMS Physician Advisory Board. Dr. Miller will also continue her role as EmCare Regional Medical Director for Kansas.
