Research Belton Hospital, part of HCA Midwest Health System, today announced that staff physicians Douglas L. Bradley, MD, and Bradley H. Sullivan, MD, have been named to KC Magazine’s 2011 Super Doctor® list, an honor given to them by Kansas City area colleagues.

The magazine polled physicians throughout the greater Kansas City area, asking who they would select if they needed medical care. Responding doctors nominated colleagues from multiple specialty areas. Dr. Bradley was selected representing family medicine and Dr. Sullivan representing obstetrics and gynecology. Both are physicians with Midwest Physicians.

“We’re very pleased that physicians in the Greater Kansas City area recognize the commitment and quality care provided by both Dr. Bradley and Dr. Sullivan,” says Todd Krass, Chief Executive Officer of Research Belton Hospital. “It’s a validation of the high regard in which their patients and our community also hold them.”

Dr. Bradley is a board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and has nearly 30 years of experience. He is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians. Dr. Bradley is an active participant in community service, contributing through activities such as providing sports physicals for the local school districts and for Special Olympians in the Belton School District. He is a member of the Belton High School Hall of Fame and is newly appointed to the Belton Educational Foundation Board of Directors. One of the founding physicians of Belton Family Practice where he continues to practice, Dr. Bradley is also chief medical officer at Research Belton Hospital.

Dr. Sullivan has been in practice for more than 25 years. A physician with Midwest Women’s Healthcare Specialists, He sees area patients at his office in the Research Belton Hospital Medical Office Building and performs gynecologic surgeries at the hospital. He is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology and chairman of Research Medical Center’s department of obstetrics and gynecology. Dr. Sullivan is a member of the American Medical Association, the Missouri State Medical Society and a past president of the Kansas City Gynecology Society.
