Menorah Medical Center, part of HCA Midwest Health System—Kansas City’s largest healthcare provider and private-sector employer—announces Deborah A. Konrade, CMPE, PHR, as Director of Midwest Cancer Care at Menorah. Konrade joins the cancer care leader in the heart of Johnson County, which offers specialized, patient-focused diagnosis and treatment and support. The Commission on Cancer accredits Midwest Cancer Care at Menorah Medical Center as a Comprehensive Community Cancer Program.
“We are delighted that Deb Konrade is now part of our team,” says Menorah Medical Center Chief Executive Officer and President Steve Wilkinson, FACHE. “Her professional drive, strategic approach to healthcare and infectious enthusiasm will have a positive and lasting impact on operations and patient care at Midwest Cancer Care.”
Konrade was previously a multi-faceted practice manager at Kansas City Cancer Center, for 10 years. During her tenure, she assisted in development of policy and procedures for the sites and practice, ensuring adequate execution and compliance. Konrade also oversaw operations at multiple clinical sites, with more than 130 employees.
Konrade’s broad professional background has also included roles as practice and officer manager for a family practices and human resources coordinator for a specialty hospital. Her professional affiliations include Medical Group Management Association, Greater Kansas City Medical Managers Association, Society of Human Resources Association, and the local chapter of the Society for Human Resource Management and the Medical Group Management Association.
