Menorah Medical Center

Menorah Medical Center – part of HCA Midwest Health, the leading provider of robotic, state-of-the-art, minimally invasive surgery and cancer care in Kansas City – continues to be a leader in the daVinci Xi Surgical System.

Menorah Medical Center board-certified colorectal surgeons are led by Dr. Lina O’Brien and Dr. Benyamine Mizrahi. Dr. Mizrahi is a national physician trainer on the robotic system. The surgeons perform minimally invasive colectomies, which helps accomplish precise removal of cancerous tissue. The patient experiences low blood loss, quick return of the bowel function, quick return to a normal diet, low complication rate, and low conversion rate to open surgery.

The daVinci system advances the technology used in minimally invasive surgery for complex diseases and conditions in gynecology, urology, thoracic, cardiac and general surgery. Menorah Medical Center is the only facility in the greater Kansas City area to offer CyberKnife stereotactic radiosurgery, which provides physicians with the ability to destroy harmful tumors without surgery or anesthesia, and the few, if any, side effects.
