It was just a cherry limeade from Sonic, but it was so much more to Belton resident.
The limeade came at the request of Victoria Lovelace's husband, a day after their anniversary, from Afghanistan where Aden Lovelace serves as an army chaplain.
"He asked me if I would do him a favor, and I said, 'Yeah, of course,'" said Olivia Shelley, a Sonic carhop. Shelley received a call from Aden Lovelace from Afghanistan early Monday morning.
"He said, 'I'm stuck in here, and my wife is at Belton Regional Hospital. Can you deliver a Route 44 diet cherry limeade to her?'" Shelley told KCTV5.
