Dr. Rachel Hailey with Lee’s Summit Medical Center says sitting too much can cause an array of health problems as shown recently in an analysis from Toronto researchers that found the amount of time a person sits during the day is associated with a higher risk of heart disease, diabetes and cancer, regardless of regular exercise.
