Neonatal excellence when you need it
We understand that excellence in care for new moms includes the best in care for their babies. This is especially important in situations where newborns are premature or ill. Each Midwest Women’s Care hospital has Neonatal Intensive Care capabilities to care for premature or ill newborns.

  • Overland Park Regional Women’s’ Care has Johnson County’s only Level IIIB NICU, and is the region’s largest NICU in the region with 71 suites. The NICU provides care for infants born as early as 22 weeks.
  • Research Medical Center Women’s Care Level III NICU assures an optimum level of care for critically ill babies who are born as early as 23 weeks.
  • Centerpoint Women’s Care has the only Level III NICU unit in Eastern Jackson.
  • Menorah Medical Center offers advanced care for ill newborns in its Level IIB NICU. The hospital’s intimate 7-bed NICU delivers one-on-one individualized care in a family-centered environment.

Midwest Women’s Care also provides the services of the Midwest Neonatal Transport team to transport critically ill or premature infants from outlying areas for access to advanced treatments and expertise.
