Midwest Cancer Care provides self-assessments to help you understand your risk of cancer. Please choose one of the following assessments below. If you find you may be at risk for cancer, please contact your physician or Nurses On-Call.
According the American Cancer Society, at least half of all new cancer cases involve cancers that can be prevented or detected earlier by screening. And the five-year survival rate for these cancers is about 85 percent, a reflection of how screenings reduce mortality rates through earlier diagnosis.
With an eye toward this early detection and prevention, Midwest Cancer Care offers cancer screenings through several of its network hospitals. In addition to screening for certain types of cancer, patients are provided with information about cancer risk factors and other information related to signs and symptoms of various types of cancer.
To register for any of the screenings, or for more information, please call
(816) 751-3775 or (913) 236-8003. New screenings are added on a regular basis, so please come back often for the latest dates and times.
