According to the Consumer Product Safety Commission, 230 people on average go to the emergency room every day with fireworks-related injuries in the month around the July 4th celebration. Whether caused by firecrackers, or even the seemingly harmless sparklers, thousands of Americans find their festivities interrupted with minor and often very serious injuries. Dr. Alexander Majidian, of Grossman Burn Center at Research Medical Center provides life-saving tips to parents to keep their children safe this holiday.
